Quiz scores and review scores are not equal. Why?

This usually happens because the system is calculating scores differently in “test view” vs “review/admin view.” In your case, it sounds like some questions (like dropdowns or branching ones) are being ignored during the actual quiz attempt, but in the review scores they’re still being counted as graded questions. That’s why you see 100% in one place and 67% in another. Auto-grade systems often treat every question as scorable unless it’s explicitly set as “not graded” or “survey only.” Even adding extra credit won’t fix the percentage if the total question count is off.

To fix it:

Mark non-important questions as ungraded / informational

Check branching questions → make sure unused paths aren’t counted

Ensure total “scored questions” is the same in both views

Once the grading logic is aligned, both scores should match.
