MS Forms Data: Storing in Excel vs. Storing in Sharepoint
Hello;
I have a Microsoft form, and I need to store the data somewhere. I can either use Power Automate to feed the data into Excel, or I can use Power Automate to feed the data into Sharepoint.
I was wondering if anyone has experience with this question, and can help elucidate the pros and cons of each option.
Potential concerns: Data accessibility, ability to modify data, etc

nmasmo at my company we always - always - save form responses to a SharePoint list via a flow in Power Automate. This is because Microsoft Forms is the most flaky of the Office 365 apps and we don't want to lose responses, but it is also for audit reasons.

Interesting. I think that makes sense.
I'm on the fence about whether to use an automated flow to save responses to a Sharepoint list vs. using an automated flow to save responses to an Excel sheet.
Having a Microsoft flow populate an Excel sheet (without using Power Automate as an intermediary) is a pretty precarious setup... but I wonder if using Power Automate as an intermediary, as well as locking the data so that it can be modified, would be more stable.
Thanks for the response, Rob.
