Jun 30, 2018If you used the default setting then the form excel file should be stored on your root OneDrive directory. Since it’s on OneDrive you get 500 previous versions so you should be able to open the excel file. Go to version history and open the one before you changed the questions and then save as that copy as another file.
Let me know if you need further details than that.

Thanks Christopher, I created forms on the portal.office.com, not on the onedrive, so there is no excel file on OneDrive, is there any other way? thanks.
- AnonymousJul 01, 2018It still should store in your onedrive that's where all the responses get stored by default. Go to the form, look at the responses, then click the open in excel button. It should be on onedrive of whoever created it and you should be able to click version history to retrieve old versions. What happens when you click "Open in Excel" on the responses tab?
- AnonymousJul 01, 2018Well looking at it, looks like you would have had to "open in excel" prior to the question removal because once you hit open in excel is when the linked excel file gets created, so you might be out of luck if you haven't done that before :(.

Thanks Christopher, we have click "open in excel" at the time we start the survey, but the excel is NOT the linked file, and we can not find the excel file on the OneDrive. now we can see all the 100 response's start time and completion time, but without response details. Could you advice how can we do next? thanks.
