Missing Form Responses - Help!

A Microsoft Forms Pro shows 43 responses on its tile, but when opened shows zero responses with no option to connect to a spreadsheet to check.  Spreadsheet missing in team area too!

Adding more responses increments the count of responses, but we can't find them!  Any hints on what has gone on and how to reconnect the responses to the form.
