Making a dropdown list dynamic and sorted

Is there a way to make a dropdown list dynamic e.g. linked to an Excel file with products so that if it's updated, that's reflected in it. and to automatically alphabetize it?  or does it have to be updated every time? Thank you.

agwalsh has this ever been resolved?  I'd like to use an external list that is constantly being updated to drive the values an employee can choose from in a drop down list in Microsoft Forms.  From my searches, this is an function that lots of people are very interested in, but I've yet to find the answer.

agwalsh no it's not possible at the moment with Forms. A uservoice request similar to what you want is at https://microsoftforms.uservoice.com/forums/386451-welcome-to-microsoft-forms-suggestion-box/suggestions/34847947-create-a-prepopulated-form-from-excel.
