Historic dates in forms

A community group is collating a historic archive using Microsoft Form however it seems Forms does not allow any date prior to 1/1/1753. Does anyone know if this can be changed as our archive dates back to 1100AD.

Thanks.

rainhamchurch 1/1/1753 was the date when the Gregorian calendar was implemented in the UK and its colonies. It is the minimum date value that can be used in SQL Server due to 12 "lost" days in 1752 in the change from the Julian calendar. Forms still uses this minimum date value although modern Microsoft Lists is even more restrictive and has a minimum date of 1/1/1900.

This can't be changed, so instead of using a date question in your form you'll need to have it just as a text question:
