File is locked for editing in Office 365

I created a Form. When I clicked on "open in excel", I am unable to do any editing, moving, or deleting because I keep getting an error message that says: "The file is currently checked out or locked for editing by another user."  I am the only user and I barely created the file within the last 30 seconds. What do I need to do to overcome this issue?
