Click onto a Forms link does not launch an internet bowser

When I click on the Forms link, the respective URL opens in the internet browser, but the browser stays behind the Teams app (is not visible). So it seems like "nothing happened" when I click on the link. I have to manually switch to the browser window to see the Form. I am using MacBook - can this be a problem? PS: when clicking on a URL link from word, mail or any other app, the internet browser (Safari) appears automatically and opens the respective URL.
