Change the language of a form
Hi mscherismith
I have a bunch of multilingual forms but adding the lang parameter to the URL doesn't do anything. It doesn't switch between the languages y configured in my forms; it only changes the user interface (as stated here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/language-settings-for-microsoft-forms-b282f9aa-0fe4-4290-b1e1-827a8a35ac27.
I might be skipping some steps since the URL for the form in every language is exactly the same.
Any ideas?
Regards
Hi,
In the forms you have :
- The form content (questions / sentences / answers)
- The button, messages and Microsoft default interface
When you're following the instructions given in the post you are refering to, you only take care of the point 2 which is the Microsoft default interface. If you change the default language of your browser, then it will display the default Microsoft form interface in the chosen language.
If you want to take care of the point 1 (which is the form content you've created), you'll have to create as much form as you're having other languages. You'll have one form for English, one for French, one for Italian, etc.
There are no (known) way so far to refer to translated labels.
But if you find a way to do it, I'm ofc interested 🙂
