Outlook Calendar No Longer Syncing with MS Bookings for One Staff Member
Hi everyone,
One of our MS Bookings users (listed as staff on a shared calendar) has the “Events on Office calendar affect availability” option turned on, which allows her Outlook calendar to sync with MS Bookings. This was working fine before, but we recently noticed that it stopped syncing — her Outlook calendar events are no longer reflected on the MS Bookings side, even though the option remains enabled.
All other staff members on the same shared calendar with that setting turned on are syncing normally.
Has anyone experienced this before? What could be causing this, and how can we troubleshoot it?
Thanks in advance for any help!

This usually happens when Bookings temporarily loses its connection to a staff member’s Outlook calendar, even though the setting still looks correct. The easiest fix is to remove the person from the Bookings calendar and then add them back, this refreshes the connection and often solves the issue. Make sure their Outlook calendar is still active and shared internally as “Can view when I’m busy,” since Bookings needs that permission to read availability. You can also try turning off the “Events on Office calendar affect availability” option, saving the change, and then turning it back on to force a resync. If everything else looks fine, it might just be a temporary Microsoft sync issue that should resolve after a short time.
