Custom Fields in Microsoft Bookings stored as numbers

I'm using 3 custom fields and storing all booking data in a sharepoint list. 

Occasionally one of the fields will store the value as a number instead of the intended text. Has anyone expreianced this before orknow why its happening?

I beleive the problem is coming from the bookings side not the sharepoint side, but uncertain
