Booking page and "bad request" message

We created a Booking page and published it to our employees only. The link to this bookings page was sent via Outlook. However, a lot of users are getting a "Bad Request" message after they open the link.

Why this problem occurred and what can be done so that peole can get an access to this page? What can we do to avoid this problem in the future?

  • Workaround:

If the Bookings page runs into a "Bad request" error, open https://outlook.office365.com in the same browser and then open the respective Bookings page again

      Hello,

Some users got help from this workaround proposed by the user MatthiasRodler:
If the Bookings page runs into a "Bad request" error, open https://outlook.office365.com in the same browser and then open the respective Bookings page again.

If you have used the link by the copy button from MS Bookings > Bookings Page > Configure booking page. Then this link contains https://outlook.office365.com/owa/.... which is what Matthias is explaining.

If you have put this link into lets say an email template then the owa is causing issues. So, go to your bookings page in a browser and copy and paste the browser address from here. Then embed this copied address into your email or social media post. which should be a lot shorter and not contain owa in the address.

MatthiasRodler If you send out the link to a group and they don't have outlook, will the link to bookings still work?

mpjepson yes. Bookings will also work when the customers do not have outlook, but the availability check with their own calendar won't work then

        Hi,

Is there any update on this topic ? All our Bookings pages are showing the "Bad Request" message, no way around it (tried to clean cache, open via OWA,...).

        Best regards,

        JBAECK

Same error here. It seems there is a problem with the bookings service. hope that will be fixed fast.

Same issue here. Booking page was working fine the last months and stopped working some days ago. But it's not a general issue, for some users it's working.
