Unable to update Excel channel on Mac

Hello,

 

I'm trying to update the channel so I have access to functions like UNIQUE; however, the latest version of Excel for Mac does not have the option to join Office Insider. Here are the instructions and a screenshot of the Help menu where the option to check for updates should be.

 

  1. Open any Office app, like Word or Excel, and then click Help > Check for Updates > Advanced.

  2. In the Preferences dialog box, click the Update Channel down arrow, and click Current Channel (Preview) or Beta Channel.

    SOLVED!!

     

    There is a back way around it which was not clear - for anyone experiencing the same issue, first go https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/update-office-for-mac-automatically-bfd1e497-c24d-4754-92ab-910a4074d7c1#:~:text=Check%20for%20updates%20and%20install,then%20check%20for%20updates%20again. and use the Msoft auto update tool. Then it will ask you give you the option to select 'Advanced' and choose the channel you want
