Summarize longer Word documents using Copilot

 

Hi, Microsoft 365 Insiders,

 

We're happy to announce a major update to Copilot's summarization capabilities in Microsoft Word! You can now summarize documents up to 80,000 words – about 4 times more than previously. This enhancement comes from listening to your feedback, as Summarize this doc is one of the most used Copilot features.

    This is one of the improvements we have been waiting for a long time! Keep it up.

    These word limits are clear, but what about PowerPoint, are there limitations to summarize presentations? Or limits on files that can be referenced from Power Point?
