Powerpoint Presenter View

I am using PPT Presenter on a Mac (Big Sur OS, two monitors).

I see the current slide on the left, next slide on top right and notes for the NEXT slide on bottom right.  I should see notes for the current slide but cannot figure out how to set this up.

Not a huge deal as I can do a workaround, but I'm wondering why this is happening.
