Mac Powerpoint can't repair or read file ^0.

I've been working on a large pptx file and recently got an error where Powerpoint says it can't open or read this file ^0. We've tried saving to a new location, pasting it into a new file, file repair, opening in safe mode, etc. Still can't access it.

Any suggestions?
