How do I chat with Microsoft Support

If you need to reach Microsoft Support, the quickest route is usually through the Microsoft 365 admin/support page if this is a work or school account. For a personal account, the support options can be a bit different, so make sure you’re signed in with the affected account before starting the chat.

You can chat directly with Microsoft Support through the official “Get Help” portal or the Microsoft Support site. The chat option is available for both personal and business accounts, and it connects you to a live agent after you describe your issue.

1. Official Microsoft Support Chat

Go to the Microsoft Support Contact Page.

Select your product (e.g., Microsoft 365, Windows, Outlook, OneDrive).

Click “Get Help” > enter your issue > choose Chat with a support agent.

2. Get Help App (Windows 10/11)

Open the Get Help app (built into Windows).

Type your problem → automated suggestions appear.
