Using Copilot to help with 1:1 meeting prep for managers?

I tried using Copilot to summarize our last meeting notes and pull up recent emails but it doesnt really give me a structured agenda or remind me about open action items from previous meetings. Anyone using Copilot for meeting prep in a way that actually works? Or is there a better approach for structuring recurring 1:1s in Teams?

Yeah Copilot is great for quick summaries but it doesnt really "know" about your ongoing 1:1 structure - like what was discussed last time, what action items are still open, what goals the person is tracking. Its more of a general assistant than a dedicated 1:1 tool. There is still some manual information feeding that goes into it.

I think you might be served better with a more dedicated 1-1 meeting tool. There are plenty of apps in the Teams app-store that connect to your Teams meetings for that kind of stuff. We use Teamflect and it does add a lot to our Teams meetings. Our old HR Lead got it for performance reviews and we discovered there was a whole meetings module in it.

It has collaborative meeting agendas, okrs, talking points, meeting notes, all the good stuff. They also added an AI assistant that can help you prepare for meetings, based on all the data it has.

TLDR: Browse the app-store and you'll find something that fits.
