M365 Copilot under iOS: a Giant Step Backward?
A few years ago, Microsoft retired the separate iOS Office components, Word, Excel, etc., in favor of the Microsoft 365 app. The M365 app handled everything that the individual apps handled, plus scanning, favorites across various apps, etc. Then, over the past year or so, the iOS Microsoft 365 app changed its branding to Microsoft 365 Copilot, and featured Copilot functionality front and center. But one could still click to find Recents, Favorites, etc. Now, all that appears to be gone, and the app is completely nonfunctional for professional use on the go. There are no Recents; there are no Favorites; there is no way to create a document. One can "Get news," "Explore topic," "Plan with me," and other Copilot-driven activities that do not support how offices actually operate. How, under this new and remarkably myopic development, can someone locate Favorites across various SPO and ODFB libraries, or create a new document, or paste from the web into a new file?
I personally prefer the individual apps, but if you want to stick with the M365 App, you'll find the Recommended/Recent/Favourites under the 'Search' option.

HelloBenTeoh Thank you, for two items! As much as I'd clicked around the UI, I never thought to look under Search. And, I thought--incorrectly it now appears--that the individual apps had been phased out. So thanks much for both insights.
