How to remove copilot dingbat in Word for Mac users?
My Microsoft apps updated this morning and I opened my manuscript in Word to find this flashy, annoying, distracting copilot icon that is driving me insane. I read about some Windows solutions to get rid of it, but they don't translate to the Mac settings. Does anyone know how to make it go away on Mac??

Quickest solution
Option 1. Hide the icon:Open Word → top menu bar View → Toolbar → uncheck Copilot.
Reboot and close it completely:
Method 2. Open Terminal → Type:
bash
defaults write com.microsoft.Word CopilotDisabled -bool YES
Restart Word.The Copilot icon should disappear after the final restart of Word.
