How to Fix Copilot With Multiple Microsoft 365 Accounts

Using Microsoft 365 with more than one account can be incredibly convenient. Maybe you have a work account and a personal Microsoft account. Or perhaps you manage Microsoft 365 for multiple organizations and regularly switch between different tenants.

  • Hello JohnNaguib! Hope you are fine! Almost 2 years trying to.  Its impossible to fix by tokens(IdP) and Scores reasons.

On the same product( M365 Copilot), have all Microsoft environment working to provide the authentication. This works for few weeks. Will crash because the tokens will start to fail to confirm the authentications for many  accounts.

The only way to stop the problem, is one environment for each account. The System today, do not accept multi accounts at the same device for too much time.

If we try to, the risks will increase on ID Entra, Purview and will apply DLP soon.

Hope that this helps. Thanks for sharing!

This is a useful topic, especially for people who regularly switch between personal and work Microsoft 365 accounts. Copilot can sometimes behave differently depending on the account or tenant that is active. Checking which account is currently signed in and switching to the correct Microsoft 365 profile can often help troubleshoot these issues. Thanks for sharing this guide.
