Getting a popup while using copilot365
Hello, I am getting a popup every 20 seconds or so while using copilot365 which is identical to the popup in this edge help thread;
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftedge/forum/all/pop-up-in-browser-potentially-caused-by-copilot/21345cf9-6904-4eaf-a7c0-0538724b2eaa
I am also having copilot tell me my organisation has turned off web search when I simply have not. I have tried reinstalling both copilot365 and edge, as well as clearing caches, but none of it has helped. Any ideas?

Yep, I just started getting that, too. It only happens in the Copilot 365 app, just pops for a few seconds and then disappears again. Super annoying because it does stop you from typing your question into the Copilot chat. I believe it started yesterday, on April 16th, 2025. I tried updating my PC, restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling, but the problem persists.

I have the exact same issue, just that I just started using Copilot and did not use it in any way before except for the Copilot for Git inside VSCode, which is two seperated and different AIs. Anyone has found a fix for this yet? I did not clean any caches or whatsoever yet...
The Popup has the Size of the normal MS-Auth, but it is just in white and you cannot put anything into any fields coz it just disappears instantly. As I don not know how it should be working - it just interrrupts the typing on the Copilot-Chat - it does not prevent any Text Generation. It just disrupts the conversation with the AI.

I'm having the exact same issue as all the rest. I was troubleshooting it with Microsoft 365 copilot, but it became impossible with the focus being removed every 15 seconds. Was able to get PS script created to help identify the background app but it didn't pan out very well. Not being able to upload results via the app and with limited responses available made troubleshooting impossible. I get tired of being a Microsoft beta tester for every new product that pops up for me. TEST YOU SOFTWARE BEFORE GOING LIVE! About ready to scrap Windows 11 and install Ubuntu. I waste more time trying to resolve windows issues now than I did with WinNT4.0.
