Creating rules

Good day, I create rules but it only work on the same day.  The next day, I have to re-create the same rules.  It does not work.  How do I fix the problem?

  • Outlook rules that only work for one day are usually caused by date-based conditions (like “Received Today”), Quick Rules, or client-only rules.

    To fix this, create the rule from Manage Rules & Alerts, avoid date conditions, store messages in mailbox folders (not PST), and ensure Cached Exchange Mode is enabled.

    Once created correctly, the rule will persist and continue working every day.
