Cowork (Frontier) OneDrive/SharePoint document read errors
We've recently managed to start using the Cowork (Frontier) agent in M365 Copilot and some of the fantastic capabilities it provides.
We're seeing an issue where right now the agent it failing to read data from withing documents such as Word documents in SharePoint and OneDrive.
We see errors in the detail such as "ReadFileContent tool keeps failing with auth expired" and "Auth expired. Let me retry - the system should have refreshed the token.".
Other agents appear to be able to access SharePoint/OneDrive content without error and people trying to access those documents definitely have full permissions (their own OneDrive as an example). Works when files are manually attached to the prompt. We've enabled model sub-processing which is the only dependency I can see for Cowork.
Wondering if a widespread known issue or something specific to my environment?
We have the same thing: "persistent authentication issue right now" from reading documents from Sharepoint or OneDrive

It’s interesting to see how often this challenge comes up especially when teams are managing projects, budgets, and reporting across multiple disconnected tools.
From what we’ve observed, the issue usually isn’t just execution, but the lack of visibility across planning, progress, and financial impact in one place. When these elements are handled separately, it becomes difficult to track real-time performance or make timely decisions.
We’ve been exploring this space through Zynwork, where the focus is on bringing execution and financial visibility together in a single workflow. The idea is to reduce fragmentation rather than add another layer of tools.
Curious to hear how others here are handling this are you using a single system or still managing across multiple tools?
I Just tried the same thing ( My tenant in India ) , It worked very well but i got new file in output folder. Also Got message
"Note: I could add the comments into the document, but I wasn't able to overwrite the original file in your OneDrive from here. You'll want to upload the updated version back to SharePoint yourself, or let me know and I can share it another way."
upon cross question to cowork i got Answer :
Honest answer: the SharePoint/OneDrive tools available to me here are read-only — they can download and read files, but there's no upload/overwrite operation exposed. The generic Graph call I have only accepts JSON request bodies, so I can't stream a binary .docx back up through it either.
So the updated file with all the comments sits in your workspace output folder

It seems like some fixes might have rolled out. Didn't make any changes to enable. I was able to reference content within SharePoint files through Cowork. Same issue with the file Cowork created not able to upload to SharePoint, but the file was accessible in the Cowork Output folder in OneDrive.
