Copilot no longer supports image uploads

The current edge work profile / m365 enterprise copilot [ m365.cloud.microsoft/chat/ ] web site installed app supports the following file upload types. that list doesn't include jpg or png so for those you have to open them and print to pdf or save / export to one of the other currently supported file upload format option.
The current edge personal profile / consumer copilot [ copilot.microsoft.com ] web site installed app supports the following file upload types. Even with that in the case of *.jpg you'd have to open file and save / export to the supported .png format.
It's not clear what is leading to the enterprise case not supporting png and both enterprise and consumer not supporting jpg. In the enterprise case it could be a processing performance cost related issue or data exfiltration security concern(s) related issue.
Yes. Exactly.
In the end, ONLY Copilot web (free) supports images, logged in with a personal account.
Copilot logged in with enterprise account is not supporting images. And it doesn't make any sense for me to convert an image to a PDF to be able to work with it, it's unusual.
Companies that ultimately BUY Microsoft 365 Copilot cannot/cannot work with images, in any format. Does that sound right? It's a basic feature that we expect from a Generative AI that is being paid. If I pay for Chat gpt or Gemini, can I use and abuse image uploading, because in Copilot no? By the way, how does Microsoft expect to stand out from the others in this way?
For me it is a big mistake, and it needs to be solved as soon as possible.

MarceloPacific0 Yes agree makes sense that most would want image file format upload ability in the consumer copilot [ copilot.microoft.com ] and m365 enterprise copilot [ m365.cloud.microsoft/chat/ and "microsoft 365 (office)" store app ] experiences.
Most would likely also want the functionality restored that let you win+shift+s screen grab graphic followed by ctrl+v paste captured image into prompt input box in addition to uploading image file.
I expect this was removed for some reason to do with further testing for specific scenarios to be addressed after which we'll likely see them come back.
