Comparing two excel files content

Hi

Is there a way to use Co-pilot to compare the contents between two excel files and summaries the differences between these excel files?

leonoehlinger, as shown in the screen shot above, please confirm that you're viewing your files under the My Files tab. Within that space is where Copilot will appear and support file comparisons. If you are within My Files and still don't see Copilot, please share a screenshot so we can take see what you're describing.

I have tried putting both files in OneDrive, selecting them but I dont see a Copilot menu. Where can I find the Copilot menu?

  • You may also use the pro version.

Note,, I had issues with co-pilot calculations when I have a large excels with 15+ tabs all linked to one another using scientific data.

  • You can also try to do this in copilot chat

    e.g  Compare these files  File1.xls File2.xls  ( upload or refer file 0

Yes... Put them in your OneDrive, select both files and you will see a Copilot menu, where you can select Summarize, Compare files or Ask a question.

      Hi Tanya

I have placed both files into OneDrive. I have selected both files and hovered the mouse pointer around them but I dont see the Copilot menu. Where will I be able to bring up the Copilot menu?

        Hello,

When you select both files, Copilot should appear at the top bar:

Then just open Copilot from there and select Compare files:

        And result is here:
