AI-generated feedback summaries for managers - is this a thing yet?
Totally feel this one. I manage 12 people and writing thoughtful, personalized feedback for each of them used to eat up my entire Friday before review cycles.
Copilot on its own is great for summarizing meetings and drafting emails but yeah, it cant really pull together someone's goal progress + past feedback + 1:1 notes into one view. That's because it doesnt have a structured place where all that performance data lives together.
What ended up working for us is using the AI agent built into our performance management software, teamflect. It runs inside Teams so theres no context switching, and the key thing is that it keeps goals, feedback, recognition, and 1:1 talking points all in one place per person. So when review time comes around, I can actually see everything that happened over the quarter in one screen.
It won't write the review for you obviously, but it will give you suggestions based on performance data. Worth checking out if your managers are struggling with the same thing.
