Acquiring Office 365 Copilot for a University Educational Account

You are correct, the subscription will only work with the data the account it is on for has access to. On the education side the tool would be Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Can I purchase that type of account individually, or does the university need to purchase it? Is there any way to use Copilot in Office 365 with my educational account? When I try to log in to see the Copilot payment plans, it says I can’t use an educational account and should use a personal one. But as you indicate, this way I would have to purchase Office regularly instead of using the one provided through my university email
- It would need to be purchased by the IT department or whoever manages the contract with Microsoft.
