unable to update Office for Mac

Hi. No matter how many times I try, and whatever “update channel” is selected, none of the Office for Mac applications will update.  I am  using one of the latest Mac Mini computers running the latest version of Big Sur.

If anybody else has this problem, I would be very interested to know!

Also, will this update give the ability to have a combination of the two page orientations in Word? I do have a PC, but have a disability affecting my keyboard use, and find that word prediction software for people with disabilities is now too  unstable in Windows and affected by application sandboxing. I also prefer Word’s proof reading in Mac as it will use purchased secondary TTS voices.  In Windows, Word will only use Microsoft’s own voices which is really annoying as I own CereProc’s Jack & Jess which are far easier to listen to!
