Problem with triple-click in Word (on browser, not desktop), mac user

Mac user. Just noticing that a triple-click on my trackpad no longer selects the entire paragraph/block of text when I'm working in a Word document on my browser. It still works as designed if I open the doc in the desktop app, but that is a less than ideal solution given how my remote working system (sharing & saving, files, etc) is set up. Anyone experience this issue or have a solution?
