Viewing MIP Encrypted PDF in Google Chrome

Hi All, 

Does anyone know if its possible to view a MIP encrypted PDF in Chrome browser? 

I've tested with non-encrypted pdfs, and Chrome opens them like a charm, but it looks like Chrome doesn't recognize user credentials like Microsoft Edge does. I've also added in the https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/microsoft-purview-extensi/echcggldkblhodogklpincgchnpgcdco, and made sure it had permissions to read and change site data with no success either.
