looking for missing webinar video on records management

hello all.

there was a great video on records management available in the page below but it seems to be missing now.

the page is:

https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/security-compliance-and-identity/records-management-webinar/ba-p/1456654

the video URL was:

https://aka.ms/MIPC/Video-RecordsManagementWebinar

can someone point me to this video?

I can't find anything better on the topic, it was a really good and comprehensive session

thank you

  • Hi t_duarte, sadly, our webinars up until early 2022 were recorded and stored in a 3rd party application. In mid-2022 the person decided to cancel the subscription and all the recordings were lost. I spent hours with the 3rd party company trying to get them back with no success.

Can you please let me know what information you'd like to find? Maybe I can suggest a different video, or we can create one. Please @me so I get notified of your reply. Thank you!

      Hello EricaToelle
Thank you for getting back to me.
It's a bit difficult to explain what I loved about that particular video, since I can only use what I remember from memory.
In short, Records Management is an important part of what I'm involved with and there aren't a lot of videos (let alone webinars) were we have a dedicated session on how to use retention labels and how document lifecycles work, with hands on approach AND FAQ time at the end.
So, a very technical approach, with practical examples and tough questions answered in detail.
Maybe one of the speakers has a copy that they can share?
In any case, if it's not at all possible to recover this one video, then what I can recommend is to try and create a new session that follows the similar lines (webinar, hands-on, allow for questions, etc.) and that can ultimately guide people how to sucessfully implement records management in Office 365.

      Thanks.
