Using iPhones with two SIMs/phone numbers for private and company use with strict data separation.
May I ask if it is possible to manage company iPhones with two SIMs / two phone numbers (one company, one private) in a way, that the employee can freely use the iPhone for private purposes on one side and for company on the other side, ensuring, that there is no data exchange between the private and company sphere. As a company, we would allow the installation of certain APPs while the private sphere shall not be restricted in any way. Thanks for your help!

- SebastiaanSmitsIron ContributorHi,
There are a couple of ways to create a work container and private container on a iPhone.
- use App Protection Policies
- use native Managed Open-in (available in the Restriction Configuration)
- User Enrollment (Apple's BYOD solution) creates a seperate APFS volume
Simcards are not the basis for the separation between Work and Private and do not fit into this. You can for example deploy E-Sims to devices within the DEP Enrollment profile but it does not belong to the work profile or the private profile.
Can you maybe explain what kind of sim or phone separation you are looking for. What part of the sim or phone should be confined to the work profile for example?
