Register device to another tenant
- Apr 10, 2025
I saw the Hash in Intune under enrollment-->Devices. I needed to unbind the profile and User and then I also needed to delete the device account tied to this hash. After all this stuff I was able to delete the hash and I could add the hash to another tenant. The time between these steps was less than 10 minutes. I am curious that it needs so much complicated steps and effort to remove a device and the hash from a tenant to deploy it to another tenant.....
Is there any hash id if the device was fully deployed? I thought that the hash then is getting removed after deployment and that I only have to delete the device in intune. Where /how can I delete the hash aditionally?
oh I now see that the hash is there under enrollment-->DEvices.... is this becaus e I deleted the device in intune, so I can redeploy the device again without making the hash available again (save effort)?

It normally takes 5-10 minutes for the autopilot device to delete. If it doesn’t then you can try deleting it using Graph otherwise you can raise a case with Microsoft.
