Managed Home Screen with blurred icon titles
Hey Team,
I've a weird case with Managed Home Screen (Intune on Android). It's running as KIOSK mode on Samsung M12.
The thing is that the titles of Kiosk icons are somehow blurred (icon title looks like bolded with a shadow behind). Once I exit the Kiosk mode to the default Samsung Launcher it looks fine. It's hard to show it on the photo, but the characters are blurred and it's not comfortable for end-user.
Any idea what's wrong with it? I've just configured standard Configuration Profile. No custom App Config profiles related to MHS.
Just to check:
- I've re-enrolled this device from scratch several times
- tested on other devices
Such an issue does not happen for example on Microsoft Launcher (managed by Intune).

Just wondering but does changing the theme to "dark" instead of "light" make any difference?- I have checked that as well. Nothing changes on the MHS
- I think, I found the "issue".
It looks that HMS has issues with fonts on light wallpapers. Once I've changed the wallpaper to a black one - the font looks fine. Back to light/white - it's blurred.
The funny thing is that Microsoft Launcher does not have such an issue. It happens only on HMS it self- Hehe wallpaper... sounds plausible.. You should expect the dark mode would do the same but nice to hear that changing the wallpaper resolved it
- Yeah, however it seems that the automated font colour change is bugged.
Android theme change (light to dark) does not change anything.
I won't say the problem is solved, but the walk around worked well.
