Hi RomanK7,
You can change your Compliance Policy if don’t like the user changing his passcode. I hear you on this as I had to deal with it before. It’s not ideal to change someone’s personal Device passcode.
You can change the settings to allow simple password and Device default. Screenshot attached!

I have a password policy and a compliance policy configured for macOS
I want to update the password policy
first, I remove one group at a time and add it to another configuration policy.
After that, the policy was applied almost instantly and I changed the password on the macbook.
Question - Can I change the compliance policy? Or will it also require a password change?
