iOS WiFi configuration profile: network name setting

AFAIK you need to specify the actual WiFi SSID (Case-Sensitive !) in the Network Name section
- Well, it can be, but in this case I don't understand the usefulness of this field.
If you create a configuration profile for windows devices and set different names where only the SSID is correct, Windows connects to it and shows your custom network name in the UI.
