Intune Settings Catalog Updates
- Aug 27, 2026
The Edge policy is documented for supported desktop versions, but your problem is catalog discovery: Intune 2607 release notes list it, while two later tenants omit it although other 2607 additions appear. That makes a local search mistake less likely and a metadata or service-rollout issue more likely.
Search Settings Catalog using both the display name and ForceForegroundPriorityForUrls under Microsoft Edge and Administrative Templates. Confirm the release in Tenant administration, Tenant status, then check Service health and Message center. Query Microsoft Graph settings-catalog definitions, deviceManagement/configurationSettings, for the policy key. If absent there, the tenant lacks metadata.
Do not substitute a guessed custom OMA-URI or registry deployment, because the release note does not document a supported CSP mapping. Capture tenant IDs, regions, service releases, the missing Graph result, and screenshots, then open an Intune support case referencing the 2607 entry. Microsoft must confirm whether it is delayed, withdrawn, or incorrectly documented.
I check the Graph API and couldn't find any Edge settings in our tenant that matched. There were many settings that included "microsoft_edgev147" and none that showed 149. The other setting from the 2607 release that I checked didn't include a version number. Seems that the 149 specific settings have not rolled to my tenant yet.
I did go the OMA-URI route prior to reading your post and it was not successful. Thank you for the explanation.
I am hesitant to go forward with Microsoft support for this issue. The last several tickets I have entered dragged out for weeks/months as they people assigned to my tickets keep going on "emergency leave" and then I have start over again submitting the same details over.
