Intune Quick Machine Recovery
I haven't seen Microsoft commit to a public GA date for the QMR CSP yet. The feature side of Quick Machine Recovery has been rolling out with Windows 11, but the Intune management surface has lagged behind it, which is why it still shows as preview.
Two reliable ways to catch the GA moment instead of guessing:
- Set a Message Center alert in the M365 admin center for Quick Machine Recovery. GA and CSP changes land there first for your tenant.
- Watch the Intune What's New doc and the Windows IT Pro Blog, which is where Settings Catalog and CSP additions get listed as they ship.
In the meantime the QMR settings have been showing up in the Settings Catalog even while flagged preview, so you can configure and pilot it on a test ring now. I'd just avoid wiring it into production compliance until it's GA, since preview setting definitions can still change.
hello thanks for the response which goes to what I have also researched, With regards to testing we have done so but the policy fails to apply with an Operating Systems not supported error message which makes me think its still strictly set for Windows Insiders. Thank you for your response though its much appreciated and will look to get a message alert setup.
Best Regards
