Intune MAM policies for Android

Hello

Is there any way to use Intune MAM policies with Android devices without having installed Company Portal? I have deployed MAM policies to restrict Outlook access with a pin code to a group of users that have Android phones without Company Portal installed, and they can access to Outlook without restrictions.
