Intune does not sync Owner/Compliant state to Entra (iOS)
This is a common challenge with Intune and Entra sync for iOS devices. A few things to check:
1. Make sure the device is properly enrolled in Intune (not just registered). Check the device details in Intune Admin Center under Devices > iOS/iPadOS.
2. Verify the compliance policy is correctly assigned and the device has had time to evaluate. Compliance state can take up to 24 hours to sync back to Entra ID after a policy change.
3. Check if there's a known sync delay - Intune to Entra compliance state sync typically happens within 30 minutes, but during peak times it can take longer.
4. If using Conditional Access policies that depend on compliance state, ensure you have a grace period configured for newly enrolled devices.
5. Try forcing a sync from the device: Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > Management Profile > sync.
