How do you configure iOS Outlook to use SystemDefaultBrowser?
Hello TomHolm
Welcome to the Microsoft community, my name is Recep I'll be happy to help you today.
Here is a general guide on how you might approach this in Microsoft Intune:
- App Configuration Policy:
- Navigate to the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center.
- Select "Apps" and then choose "App configuration policies."
- Create a new policy or edit an existing one.
- Settings for System Default Browser:
- Add a configuration setting for the Outlook app.
- Use the key-value pair that corresponds to the desired behavior. In your case, it seems you've already tried using "com.microsoft.outlook.Settings.OpenLinks.UseSystemDefaultBrowser."
- Assign the Policy:
- After configuring the settings, assign the policy to the desired group of iOS devices.
- Outlook App Update:
- Ensure that your Outlook app is up to date on the iOS devices.

Hi Recep!
I have tried to find if there was any setting for the "Default system browser" in the "App configuration policies." for the iOS Microsoft Outlook app. But i can't seem to find any.
Also tried to add "General configuration settings" with the key that i wrote about earlier that i found ""com.microsoft.outlook.Settings.OpenLinks.UseSystemDefaultBrowser."".
Maybe there is no way to set the default browser in the iOS version of Microsoft Outlook in Endpoint manager?
Kind regards, Tom
