First log in with local user account
Hello everyone!
I'm new to the world of Intune and I started to work in a company that is using this tool to manage Windows laptops and other devices.
My question is whether, before handing over a laptop to an employee for use, I would like to log in to Windows for the first time using a local administrator user to perform tests, updates, etc. However, the only login option is to use an account with the company's email, for example: email address removed for privacy reasons + password
I'd like to log in using the ".\" option and the local user name, as we did on machines that were in the domain.
Thank you all in advance.
Best regards.

However, based on what you described, logging in first to perform admin actions in my opinion doesn’t really fit in the modern way of provisioning devices. Most of the configuration if not all can be achieved through Intune alone. Unless there is something really specific requirement, setting that you want to perform manually then that is another thing. If thar is the case then maybe share some more details related to what you intend doing before handing of the device to end user.

Hi, I recommend that you enable this feature so you can better handle these cases:

If you can you want to do things well, if you don't use it, implement autopilot so you can handle the whole preconfiguration phase in an automated way; once you have implemented the solution well, you won't even need to log in to do verifications.
