Declarative Device Management (DDM) Updates of iOS devices
Hi Everyone,
I am currently looking to migrate the update policies from iOS Update policy to DDM update policy. Created a DDM policy and assigned 100+ devices to it. However, the policy is showing as only 7 devices are currently assigned to the policy. No status of the rest. I cannot see them in pending, error or conflict state.
Policy settings are quite straight forward
Enforce Latest Software Update Version - True
Delay in Days
Install Time
Software Update Settings
Rapid Security Response
Devices assigned are corporate and MDM managed devices

When migrating to Declarative Device Management (DDM) for iOS updates, devices must run iOS/iPadOS 17.0 or later and be enrolled via Apple’s Automated Device Enrollment or supervised; devices not meeting these criteria or excluded by policy filters will not appear in assignment status. To troubleshoot rollout, verify OS versions, enrollment type, group membership, and manually sync devices if needed..

Thank you Vimal
All the iOS devices in our env are 18 and above. Corporate devices and enrolled via abm. Issue still persist. We are still relying on legacy update policies.
