Blue screen crashes caused by April updates KB5055523
- Jun 11, 2025
Hello,
- In a Test Tenant where the KB5055523 error is present.
I have this KB5055523 uninstalled and the QU updates from Intune stopped.
I want to check whether the faulty KB can be skipped with the new monthly release and with the prior KB uninstalled. - In another Test Tenant.
I have Paused the QU so the KB5055523 is not uninstalled only paused.
I want to check whether the faulty KB can be skipped with the new monthly release without to uninstall the last KB (KB5055523).
State 11.06.25
So in the test tenant where I uninstalled KB5055523, the KB was skipped and the Windows updates continued to be installed without any problems.
In the second tenant, where the KB was only paused, the B updates could no longer be installed for the next few months after the resuming the update. This problem was like a miracle solved with the release of KB5060842I assume as always no MS Problem :)
Good luck!
