Azure AD Joined Mapped Drives
Hi All
Does anyone have a working solution that can push down mapped drives from an AD File Server via Intune to Azure AD Joined W10 devices?
Tried various methods / guides online and very little happened.
Info appreciated.

- Hi Stuart,
If you wish to map drives to Azure AD joined devices, you can try to use the DriveMapping admx.
Rudy has created a blog on how to use it:

Otherwise, there is also the option to utilize a PowerShell script in Intune, that will create a task on the devices. Here is the link: https://intunedrivemapping.azurewebsites.net/
My recommendation for you, would be to try the admx files 🙂

I couldn't get ADMX to import properly. I must not be following / understanding the additional guide well enough.
Opted for the CSP route.
Question, is this clever enough to assign different Drive letters to different groups, so that when different users logon to a PC, they get drive letters assigned to them.
IT Admin logs on = gets I: IT Drive
HR Admin logs on = gets H: HR Drive

I'm currently using the admx's, and I currently have created a configuration profile for each drive.
This can be a lot of profiles if you have a lot of drives 🙂
If you are using the Intune drive mapping generator, you can utilize the security group filtering.
