Autopilot Custom Image Deployment
Hi Guys!
Is there a way that we can have separate autopilot image for each department. Like IT department could have separate autopilot image, Finance department could have separate autopilot image, Sales department could have separate and VIPs could have separate?

As rahuljindal mentioed, autopilot is not for imaging a device. It uses the os that is preinstalled on a device.
We also use tags and work with different autopilot profiles, configurations etc.
For example:
IT - Autopilot Profile "IT" - Local Admins - no naming conenvtion or preinstalled software (device tag it)
Finance - Autopilot Profile "Finance" - Non Local Admin, Naming Convention, Standardsoftware (device tag fin)
Use dynamic groups for the different devices to automate the processes.

Autopilot is not an image management solution. You can have different configurations based on departments and stuff using group tags. Alternatively, you can leverage Device preparation and target different groups of users and manage the configuration that way.

It all depends on how simple you want to keep the management and admin.
For simplicity we configure the device Group Tag (OrderID) when importing the devices into Autopilot. (Can now be manually altered afterwards as well).
Using dynamic device groups based on the Group Tag will then let you target them specifically with Autopilot profiles, configuration profiles, apps and so on.
