App Protection Policy Android Microsoft Teams as dialer

I know this is an old post but perhaps, by digging out all these requests, the development team starts to understand how much of a pain point this is.

We want to use Teams Telephony System. But missing features as "use the Teams app as default calling App" on Android is a game stopper.

It would be huge, if we were able to convert our mobile devices into fully integrated teams calling devices - also for PSTN calls. We are paying customers for the whole system since seveal years now and still waiting for such basic implementations.

And NO, just giving it permissions "phone" is not enough. NO, just adding the "New Call" Shortcut manually on every device is not enough. We want:

• tel: links working
• calling from native address book with teams
• fully configurable from Intunes
• basically a smartphone should be able to do calls with only data connection using teams

Please make this happen. So many posts on Feedback portals
