I got the same issue, some apps getting installed automatic. And a lot other apps wont, they keep on pending.. Even with the intune sync they wont get installed. I do see them at the playstore and can install them there. But it should go automatic. Really hope MS gets asap a solution, need to enroll 300+ devices soon...

    Just ran into this issue... 80+ devices (Feb20th).
    Looks like we had a few apps that where required to install but were removed from the Play Store.
    After removing the non-existing apps from Intune (starts with com.<appname>, and has default android icon) the remaining apps started to install.
    We still have some don't even show in the managed store, but that may be a result of what was mentioned above about apps not being maintained, and might be on Play Store next chopping block?

    Looks like developers need to maintain their apps.

      Thank you for the tip, we have removed all possible apps to de clutter but we don't have any further problematic apps and the apps are still not installing. The issue we have is the small quantity of devices that don't install apps are the same model/version as the ones that install ok, so I woulld've thought if it was a play store developer issue, it would be across all devices?

      Thank you, that worked. I removed all assignments of "Android Enterprise system app"-type apps, wiped my test phone and everything installed afterwards. Not sure which of them were causing it but I confirmed it was from them because after adding the assigments back the issues came back.

      Edit. I think few apps worked even during the problem because the apps get processed in order and when it got to the broken ones it just stopped there.
