Android Apps Not Installing on some fully enrolled Company Devices - 0xC7D24FBA
A weird issue has cropped up and we can't seem to find much info on it. There are a couple devices out of our 30 ish devices that aren't installing an App off the Managed Google Play Store. These de...

Can you please let us know what app this is about? Is this the only app not installing on the affected devices and other apps are installing without issue? Are all devices the same, same type, same Android version etc?
Really helpful in these type of scenarios is the device logs captured during issue (so during the enrollment). This is a little difficult because the device needs to be in the homescreen and you need to enable developer mode in the settings. We could simulate or stage the issue, we could apply assignment at a later point after registration and setup log collection using adb. Are you familiar with this and how to gather the logs?

App is called Highways Toolbox, it is one used by our Company in the Road Construction Industry - nothing special about it, but yeah other apps are installing without an issue and what makes it more bizarre is all deployed devices are Moto G54s and the majority install the app fine

I have tried using the Intune app to collect logs but it is something I am still learning.- SebastiaanSmitsMar 01, 2024Iron ContributorYou can install adb on a computer and you need to attach the android device by cable (developer options need to be enabled on the devices). This is one of the best guides:

You need to set it up to collect these logs though. You could enroll one of the devices without the assignment of Highways Toolbox. When enrolled set everything up to collect the logs and assign the app. You need to enable developer options in the Device Restriction Configuration > General > Developer Settings > Allow. Preferably scope this to the single test device because it is a security risk.- SebastiaanSmitsMar 01, 2024Iron ContributorBy the way the app is not maintained, last update is march 2018, this is a matter of time before issues start to crop up I think it would be wise to contact the Developer or start looking for an alternative
